Clip to ScrapBook
I had to give up on the teaching career when my husband and I wanted to get a house. I was subbing and that is not considered a stable income and would not qualify for the financing we needed to get a home. I went into the insurance field. I don't know where you're at but around here there are lots of insurance companies who like people with a 4 year degree. If you can find the right company you can get pretty decent pay.

If you have the ability, I would strongly suggest that you pic up classes to keep up on your teaching knowledge up and involved. I am at a point where I am probably lost forever, because I've been here in the business world for 4 years now. But survial is important we all have to do what we can to make sure we make it.

Good luck!
