Now What?
By Sue W.

Clip to ScrapBook
A little bit of the Pollyanna in me says to look for a positive hidden in the negatives.First, get too know two VERY important people in your building, the head custodian and the head secretary. Its amazing what they can find,
fix, or in some other way help with. When I asked Kevin if I could have a hook in the ceiling for plants he was back in 12 minutes, no work order in sight! There may be a drawer handle or a whole different desk available.
It is interesting that so many teachers left, that may be all for the best! If things were bad, the change in staff and assistant principals may open things up
for a more positive set of relationships. With no one around to say "We always did/do" you may be able to share the best ideas of all the newbies more openly for a great working relationship.
