keys and copies

I teach in a high crime neighborhood in Chicago at a private school. Our school only has 4 classrooms and 1 entrance, which is always locked. Even to come in from recess or when I get to school in the morning I have to ring a doorbell and wait for someone to let me in. We have 1 copier for the office and 4 classrooms. We each have a copy code, but I don't know if they really check how many copies each teacher is making. Because of the contract with the provider of our copier, our number of copies was VERY limited this past year, so we actually had to fill out a log when we put new paper in the copier (signature, date, and what number was on the ream) so that it would be easy to see how much paper we used in a day/week/month. Did it help? I don't know.
