Clip to ScrapBook
At my school, we are expected to send home a weekly newsletter. Some send them on Fridays, but I send mine on Mondays. It is written by me, not the students. It includes info. on what we're studying or events going on
in the school or classroom. I always have a block for important dates and list things like programs, conference dates, deadlines, etc. I include my email address. On the back we have 3 columns. This is where my other grade level teachers and I enter info. regarding what we're doing daily in science, soc. studies, and math, including listing all homework assignments.
We type this on
one computer and print out 3 copies. We each copy this on the back of our homeroom newsletter. The parents really rely on these newsletters as a source of info. Some of us even email the newsletters to our parents as another way of keeping them informed.
