8th Grade All Stars!!

I have taught sixth and seventh grades for the past 5 years. I am going to be teaching 8th grade this year. Middle school kids love "themes". In the Middle School I taught at previously, we had a schoolwide theme each| year. We tied it in many different ways (hall passes, bboards, name tags for kids and teachers' rooms, etc). I am at a new school this year, and I am using "All Star Students". The only bulletin board I have completed so far, is "Welcome 8th Grade All Stars". I have a ton of posters and cut outs of different sports and equipment. We also used, "Dive Deep for Your Dreams", "On the | |
Right Track", "Have a Record Breaking Year", and some others. I can offer ideas on them if you're interested. Also, remember that 8th graders still like themes and incentives!! They aren't quite as grown as they think they are!!Good Luck,
