In my classroom I use a stoplight to manage behavior. At the start of the day all students begin on green. If they break a classroom rule they move to yellow which is a warning. I they are spoken to again they move to red. I you move to red you lose free time. If you are talked to again you get a note or call home. I have two reward systems set up, one for the class and an individual system. If the whole class stays on green the class gets a popcorn scoop in our popcorn jar. When the jar is full we get a popcorn party. I a student stays on green they get a sticker on their sticker chart at the end of the day. Students can then trade in their stickers for prizes. 5= pencil cap eraser, 10= pencil, 15= prize box, and 20= no homework pass. To trade in I crossed out stickers with a sticker chart.
