I am teaching a self contained Mental Challenges.
We are going to practice cooking and writing a recipe book. We are also going to do a shopping excercise. We are close to a walgreens and I am making up a shopping list
of products carried by the store. It will go out to all of the teachers at school. We will shop for them and then deliever the products. Teachers will pay in advance, the product cost plus 10%. The plus 10% covers taxes and provides students with some spending money for the local 7/11. I have a problem with work pages if they do not generalize. The recipes will come from home and

must be simple to make because the kids will be doing the cooking. The kids will be creating the recipe book to sell for additional funds. They will learn cooking, math in measurement and money, shopping with a list, making change, purchasing products, computer skills, writing and marketing their product. Good Luck.
