I would like to just add a couple of things.

One I would talk with your Principal just so he/she knows what is going on and allows you the time off to deal with any tests or treatment if it becomes necessary. I don't think
it would hurt if you waited until the results of your initial test came back though.

It's important your administrator know what is happening because he/she is more aware (than we sometimes even realize) of possible parental concerns, etc., For example if a student recently had a mom sick with breast cancer he may not want you to disclose your illness to your students at any point.

And

of course hopefully the tests will say everything is fine and you won't have to worry about anything. I will keep you in my prayers during these upcoming weeks that everything will turn out fine.

And lastly congratulation on your first teaching position!
