    We do it at our school...

    We usually do Mondays and Wednesdays. It is from 315pm-445pm. Depending on how many kids sign up and from what grade levels...we usually have 1st/2nd, 3rd, 4th/5th groups. Then a letter comes around asking teachers to sign-up for one, both, subsitute, or no days. There are always two adults at each session. Im pretty sure they got the PTA to donate money for the snack and drink for each student (plus the fee from the students). The teachers are given what we call "workshop" pay (about $18 an hour). Each grade level group sets their homework club differently. In third grade, we usually make the students read for 10(-15) minutes, then they work on hmwk. One of the adults checks the work. Then depending on the student, they are given either computer time, more DEAR time, extra math practice, etc... Im not sure what else you need to know but I hope this helps a little!
