Team Teaching

When you say Team Teaching do you mean that you will work together in teams but you each have your own classroom or will you share a classroom and the students with another teacher? I was hired to team teach 6th grade and
have since been moved to an 8th grade team. We each have our own rooms but there are three teams. This year we are pushing subject teams which I am thrilled about because I won't have to figure everything out by myself! I met one of my subject team members (there are three of us) and I am really excited about working with her and learning everything I can! Either way, just take a wait

and see attitude and be open to all the benefits of working with a teacher that has been around awhile! I think there are so many benefits to team teaching if everyone is dedicated to its success! Good luck and I bet you end up enjoying having someone to plan with! I know I am!
