doors
By Carson

Clip to ScrapBook
I teach in an urban area of NJ. The janitor opens the one door near the parking lot around 7:30 each morning for teachers to get in and then when school starts even that one is locked. In order to get in during the day
you have to go to the front and be buzzed in by the office. During lunches they leave our playground door open and a lunch aide monitors it so nobody comes in that shouldn't be. I feel very safe and it forces all parents to go through the office before coming to classrooms.

As far as the copy machine goes, we are given a code for the machine and each month we start off with 1500 copies.

You have to wait until the 1st of the next month if you run out. Or you can be friendly with the secretary and she'll give you her number which is unlimited Our paper is put next to the copy machine and you take what you need.
