What you will need....

Clip to ScrapBook
Hello!
I am going on my fifth year of teaching and have taught first and second grades. If you want to find some great games and books for your classroom for really cheap, check out local anitque/thrift stores. I have
found that some people actually have booths with just children's things (which usually include videos and books). Target also runs great sales on their games (Candy Land, Hi Ho Cherry O, etc.) for really cheap. Watch their sales ads because they will probably be running these particular sales since school is about to begin. The Dollar Store is another great place for bins for organization,
along with Wal-Mart. TJ Maxx and Marshalls have a lot of educational videos for really cheap (videos that are literature). Make sure to get signed up with Scholastic Book Club too, because you can get a lot of free books for your classroom if your children order books. Make sure to buy some videos to keep in your classroom for emergencies, just in case the Media Center doesn't have what you need. Hope this helps!
