I also do the jungle theme.
I decorate the outside of my door as a huge tree with leaves...and made another inside in the corner of my room. I made a Tarzan and had him "hanging" on to a vine that was coming down from
the ceiling.
My job board was a hut and I called it "Jobs of the Hut"
I did a bulletiin board called Go Bananas. It had a huge ape on it and every week I would post a challenge problem. The kids would answer it, put their paper in a basket, and then put their name on a magnetic banana. at the end of the week I would pull out a banana for a prize.
I did a good work board "No Lion,

this is great work!" Outside my room was a vine with paper monkeys hanging that said "Swinging into fourth grade". I made a HUGE safari jeep, took a picture of myself and stuck it in the driver's seat...took the kids pictures and made them passengers.
Maybe that will help a little...
