boggle
By Jean

Clip to ScrapBook
Boggle is a super game which is made up of 16 lettered dice. The dice fit into a game grid which can be shaken to change the position of the letters. Kids have to make words from the letters which are adjoining. Words are
scored by their length 1 pt for 3 letter words, 2 for 4 letter words etc. It's great practice when played alone. If played with others, a timer is used. One player reads the words they found. Anyone who found the same word crosses is off their list. Points are earned for the words remaining on the list after each player has read their lists. The best thing about this game is that it only
takes 3 minutes to play a round. Shaking the dice in the lid is a bit noisy, but the game is silent.

My whole family loves this game. A bigger version which is no longer made but can be bought on Ebay is Big Boggle with 25 cubes.

I'm glad someone suggested it. I'm going to pick one up for my afterschool care kids who finish their homework.
