Ideas....

Clip to ScrapBook
I am not sure if you are to teach lessons in specific subjects, but here are a few ideas:

**Icebreaker-Amigo Search-Make a bingo card, but name it "AMIGO SEARCH", put at the top of the card, "find someone who...." each
box is filled with a phrase like has the same number of siblings as you, is shorter than you, etc.
(Even though you won't have them, they will be together for the year!)

**Bio Bags are fun-Decorate the outside of brown paper bags to look like themselves, fill them with things from home that represent themselves on the inside (trophies, awards, uniforms, sports equipment, etc.)
This

will take a few days if you are using 50 min. periods. Then, they can present them to the class. I have one of my own, and that's how I introduce myself to my kids, so they see an example first.

**Current Events games-Ties with geog. and could be fun for the kid teacher or teacher(s) they will have (if they are in your building) if they would like to have a "biography" project or some other project when the kids come to class.

**I'll keep thinking!
