Hi! I posted this above just in case Hope it helps you in some way.

I'm not sure what else you are looking for... but here goes..

I got a pattern for a hot air baloon out of a pattern book of a friend mine. I enlarged
it to about 4 feet tall using the opaque machine onto butcher paper. You can also draw it free hand if you are good at that kind of thing (I unfort. am not..oh well)

I then painted the pattern in different colors and outlined it with black permanent marker.

To make it 3d. I took another sheet of butcher paper and cut it a few inches bigger than the painted balloon. I used colored

butcher paper for the back (I painted the balloon itself blue and yellow so I made a dark blue back).

You then staple the back to the front about half way around. Stuff newspaper or any other crumpled up paper inside. I have seen teachers do this with cotton or stuffing as well.. Stuff it as much as you want and then staple it closed all the way.

ta da!! A wonderful 3d balloon.

The basket I just made out of brown construction paper.

Hope this helps you..

any other questions..just ask!

Kim
