Test Paper Folders
By Mattie

Clip to ScrapBook
I've been sending test papers home for eight years.

On Fridays, I staple all graded papers together. I place stacks all over my desk with all the papers in number order.

Then, I staple all of #1's together, etc. I used
to file them in hanging folders & then staple. It would take an hour! But, keeping the stacks and taking one at a time takes 5 minutes!

The only thing is I staple at the top-middle. Parents had a hard time viewing all questions when I stapled on the side.

They each have a folder with a decorated cover pagewith two long rectangles. When a folder is brought back the next day, s/he gets

a sticker in the rectangle. Nine weeks later, said student with all nine stickers gets a treat!

However, parents must sign behavior report & ALL F's & D's.

I also make large stickers with the test paper folder procedues and the grading scale that we put on the pockets inside the folder.

Also, I staple a grade sheet on the inside of the folder for parents to complete. This is like a small scale grade book; so, they can track their children's grades! I don't have time to write the grades down twice, but the parent can chose to do it or not.

If you'd like to see them, e-mail me!
