I live in the denver area By CPC

I am glad to see some other teachers who will be in the denver area who I can chat with. I moved to denver last year from a town of 500 (I was there one year because it was to small. I came from Minneapolis, but I understand| the culture shock thing) Here is what I have found about schools and about living in this area. I have found that Highlands Ranch, Parker, Littleton (south end) can be very pricey. Yet they have the best schools and pay the best. I live in the northern part of denver which is a whole lot less expensive but some of the schools are a little scary. There are great schools in the northern | | part don't get me wrong but check out the school districts and the populations of the schools. If you are unsure about what area you and your fiance will be working in I would find some place like Aurora. They have some reasonably priced places and it is on the eastern middle part of denver. I would stay east of I 225 in aurora. I think you will find that even in this HUGE city you will find that it can be very close and small feeling at times. I pretty much stay with in a 15 mile radius of my apartment and only go out of that area once or twice a month for special occassions. Please feel free to email or post again if you have any questions. I would love to help out a fellow teacher.
