New too!
By Laura

Clip to ScrapBook
Hey Jennifer! I am new too! I have been collecting stuff since sophomore year of college and I am a true blue bargain hunter.

Free or basically free

Email all 50 states tourism boards and sign up for travel guides.
They are free and have a ton of information and pictures.

Has all 50 states. It takes a while to do, but everyday I get a guide from somewhere.

Check your area for closing stores. Our Kmart closed and was practically giving away things. I got 2 revolving metal book racks, a HUGE wall rack and a small table shelf

for $50.

In my area we have a store called Crayons to Computers. It is a free store for teachers! If your school qualifies, you can shop for free (as much as fits into a cart). If it doesn't, then you volunteer for 4 hours and get to shop. I have TONS of stuff.

these are the stores, but my store isn't listed, so there could be more. Just do a search for Crayons to Computers.

Right now Holcombs is giving away free bb borders and certificates with a purchase. Next month is a teacher plan book with a really cool calendar.

Go to you local Target. Find out who the signage person is at the store. There is only one. They give away all their signs that hang from the ceiling when they are done using them. I have so much cool stuff to hang from my ceiling and walls for almost every holiday.

Doctors offices usually give away all of their magazines when they are finished with them.

If I think of anymore I will let you know.

Laura
