I taught Pre First for several years until it was eliminated from our district. We flew by a wing and a prayer.....I based what I did on the needs of the children when they arrived. Do your children know the letters and sounds? Are they able to tackle beginning reading? I found using Orton Gillingham to address their individual needs was helpful.
