It's good to hear from you - especially hearing you are having a great summer. I think I found the posts you were wanting. It all started when "Melissa" posted with the subject "Self-Selected Reading." She gave us all an example of a rubric she used to assess her students independent reading. Right now, I found it at the bottom of this page - page 1. Not quite so far down, I found the post I think you are actually looking for.
