hi bonnie,

i'm from indy too and i have been desperately searching for a job since 2001. nothing has happened. i've applied as far south as franklin and as far north as kokomo and everywhere in between. there is just
nothing out there right now! i called districts back in june and they said they wno't know until last minute in august, once they do enrollment. i've given up for the time being and have accepted a job that is still within education, but not teaching. but the minute a teaching job comes up, i'm leaving teh job i'm at. the job i have is not what i want to be doing right now, but it's bringing

in money which is the most impt. thing right now. you would think with all of the new schools being built around here that there would be hiring...but not. good luck with your search!
