They may have to use a dictionary or other resource When I teach my students about "asking questions" I explain that this is when you want to know more information about a section of text that was not answered in that section of text. When students ask questions they may be answered later in the text or not. If we have a list of quesitons that have not been answered I discuss with students where they may go to find the answer or using what they know about the text what conclusion can they draw in regard to their question.
