I feel your frustration. I graduated in 2001, and am feeling very discouraged. I have had three long term positions, three months at a time, but I really thought that I would have had a job by now. I coached 3 teams this year, volunteer all the time at one school....and everyone says that the next job will be mine...however, there are just no jobs in the town I live in. I am giving myself 5 years as then my son will have graduated, and then will look far up north if nothing comes. In my area there are many teachers in their 50's, we are having fewer kids register, and in B.C. with our economy what it is we are loosing people to other provinces.
So good luck to all out there, maybe one day we will all get a job.
