school Web page

You will need to talk to your school's (or possibly your district's) Webmaster, i.e. whoever maintains the site. Unless you have the FTP (File Transfer Protocol, I believe) software on your classroom computer, you will not
be able to upload to your school's site. The Webmaster will have to do it for you.

Talk to your Webmaster. In the meantime, here's some info:

You can use Microsoft Office products to create Web pages. Here is a site with a GREAT explanation for how to use MS Word:

You

can create your site in Word and then have your Webmaster upload it for you.

If you want to create an independent site, not housed on your school/district server, here are two places you can do that. They are not very sophisticated, but they are free and easy to use, and I have never seen them get blocked by any filtering software (unlike Yahoo's GeoCities).

http://wizard.hprtec.org/index.php3 (I recommend this one.)

http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/fil/ (This one is not quite as good, but it has several formats you can use.)

I don't know a lot about this topic, but I do work with educational technology. E-mail me if anything I have written here doesn't make sense.
