I am starting a mailbox system as well. I saw that Staples has a 6 pack of letter trays (the plastic stackable trays) for $6.94. Now when you multiply that out by the # of students you have, we're probably talking $28-$35 dollars. I know that is NOT cheap, however, I'm also looking at the fact that they are going to last forever, so I'll never have replacement costs. I also won't destroy them when I need to replace names each year. Just another option.
