Daily Schedule (sorry it's taken a while!)

Ok, here's my general schedule:

8:30-8:40 Calendar time, pledge, prayer
8:40-9:00 Working w/Words
9:00-9:30 Religion
9:30-10:15 Math
10:15-11:00 Guided Reading
11-12 Lunch/Recess
12:00-12:30 SSR
12:30-1:00
Writing
1:00-1:45 SS/Sci. (taught alternating days)
1:45-2:30 Handwriting/Phonics (with a classroom helper, so kids do both but at different times - I had to have a seperate phonics "class" because my administration required it)
2:30-2:45 pass out homework, get coats, do class jobs, etc.

You might notice a lack of "specials" because we don't have specials teachers. 1X

a month the kids are pulled out in the afternoon for music rehearsal for all-sing at church. I teach art on Friday afternoons and usually we play Quizmo in place of phonics because the kids love it. Also, we have gym ALL MORNING (ugh!) on Tuesdays starting in January, so then it gets even MORE complicated, but I'm not going to get into it...
