Good luck with your decision. I can totally see principals "sell" their school when it does not have the best "insides." My school is one of them. It's TOTALLY messed up, but our principal talks it up all the time.
You can do one thing while you're waiting "Don't answer your phone." =) Tell them you'll be out of town and you'll get back to them ASAP.
