Team Leader

This coming year will be my third year as team leader. The previous suggestions were right on. I would clarify from the beginning what is expected of the team leader. My first year I had a teacher express that I wasn't doing what she thought my job was. This year in my school we will have 9 third grade teachers, last year it was 10. So it is extremely important to communicate with everyone. I let everyone know upfront what my responsibilities are and also discuss what everyone else is expected to do. Definately delegate right from the beginning, otherwise you may not get any help later when you really need it. Good luck.
