Classroom Library
By Melissa

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Mary...I know where you are coming from. I put together a classroom library 3 yrs. ago. My method was very simliar to Sarah's. I sorted my books into piles. This is what I ended up with...

Chapter Books
Easy readers
ABC/Rhyming
Math
Science
Social Studies
Holidays
Famous Authors
Favorites
Magazines

There were a few more. I then put a label on the tub wiht a colored sticker (garage sale dots) Every book in that tub had a sticker, so that the students knew whcih tub to return it to. This has worked great for the last 3yrs. But now, I have acculumlated so many books that my tubs are overflowing. I'm thinking about reorganizing it. Let me know if you find any great ideas.

Melissa
