Windows...

Another idea would be to keep the blinds open and just cover the lower half of the windows. If you do this you will still allow some sunlight in the room and have extra "wall space".

I just moved in to a new room this year, I have decided I am going to use the windows to display poems and songs we have used in Shared Reading. It will be a great resource for a "read the room" center.
