heroes help out

Last year I did a patriotic theme and so this worked out. I was not good about switching jobs or even having the kids do the jobs weekly. It ended up being a whenever we get to it kind of thing. Every child was responsible for cleaning up the floor at the end of each day though. I would say, "Hit the deck," and they would fall to the floor and pick up 5 pieces of garbage each. It was a little joke we had! I think the whole classroom jobs thing is hard to manage as you teach older kids. THere is simply less time and more to teach.
