I really hate to hear that teachers might loose their jobs over test scores. You should contact professors at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. They are fantastic. APSU has one of the top programs in the state. Tennessee is very score driven but the focus is on gains. Did the students have a year's worth of gains?We even break scores down to the point to know exaclty what students did not score well on. This helps the next years teachers with remeditation and enrichment. We have a very positive school system where I teach.
