job hunting
By Karen

Clip to ScrapBook
I know how disappointed you must be! Something is bound to happen! My suggestions are to sub- my principal won't hire you unless she knows you. Have you thought about any long-term subbing- for maternity or extended illnesses-
this way you can show them what you have! The asst. route is always good- except that it takes a year... another suggestion is find the school you like and volunteer, meet the principal adn let them know what you want and be open to anything. Over the summer I "hung" out at a friends room helping her get ready for school and kept running into the principal- hmmm.... he offered me an
asst. job- only thing he had and ended up hiring me after school started when our class numbers were too big... what luck! Hang in there... I don't think a 3 year hiatus will be that detrimental- you were having babies!! Best of luck to you!
