Words Their Way

I just bought this book and I love it. The whole idea of the book is that spelling is learned in developmental stages, and you can learn which stage each child is at by looking at their spelling mistakes. Then you group kids into 3 or 4 groups and have the kids work on word sorts etc. I'm thinking of implementing this in my class next year. I teach 4th. The system could also be used up through 8th grade so 5th should be fine. Anyway I really like it and would love to talk to you on email or here about it.
