I had my students use the accordian-style file(6 pockets) for the first time this year and will never go back to a binder. It was great to have a place for everything and they actually used it correctly! We change classes, so it was easy for them to keep up with things for both of us. They also kept a "stitched-style" composition book for each subject.(The pages don't come out as easily.)
