teaching kindergarten

If you do end up teaching kindergarten, please keep an open mind and a positive attitude! My son just finished kindergarten with a teacher who was moved from a higher grade. This teacher made it known to the parents that she did not enjoy it, and the perceptive 5 and 6 year olds got the message too. Remember, in kindergarten, you are giving the students and their parents their first school experience. I am hoping that my son's teacher next year can help change the negative attitude that he has developed from his previous teacher. Good luck!!
