I know exactly how you feel and I'll give you the same advice someone gave me. Do what feels right to you. I wold persue interview in the public school and see what happens if thats the direction in which you want to go. Think about what is right for you. You spent to many years preparing and working hars to setle for a place that does not truly and fully support you. Last year I was in a similiar situation and I got offered a great position which I took. I told my old school that truth which is that it's a great oppurtunity and they were supportive because they know the education field. It was that best thing I did although it didn't feel that that at the time
