I have a totally different opinion and outlook than what ya'll are saying. I have taught 20+ years and strongly believe you should GO FOR IT!!!
If you are not completely happy, now is the time to try greener pastures. NO, that school will NOT get upset with you. Teachers do this all the time. How would you know then that something MIGHT come up in the summer. It is your right to change your mind. All my experience has been in public schools and like anything, it has it's pros and cons. BUT, I am happy and that shows in your kids too. Take the plunge teachers!!!
