I also just finished up my first year teaching but in a catholic school. I had the same problem deciding whether to stay or leave. My school is also VERY unorganized. I basically figured out everything on my own while my friends in other public schools had mentors to help them along during their first year. What you really need to do is weigh your options. What are your reasons for leaving? Why would you want to stay? If you are not happy then i think you should leave or at least give it one more year and go into a public school next year. I decided to stick it out one more year to see how everything goes.
