Switching

I know you are not happy about the switch to Kindergarten, however you felt the same way about 2nd grade at first. Every grade level can have problems, each is different. I am not a teacher, however I have been an assistant| in Kindergarten, 2nd, and fourth for 7 years. After being in fourth grade last year I really miss working with K students. When students begin Kindergarten some have never been away from home and you have them for the first time. Some students cannot write their name or recognize letters or numbers. the students need to adjust to a structured setting, however with time and patience I think you might enjoy teaching Kindergarten. I think you should at least give it a try. You may like it after all!!!
