Desk Fairy

Someone from the boards posted this during the school year and it worked GREAT for my fourth graders. I told them that a secret desk fairy was going to visit someone's desk each week. I did it randomly, checked a desk and if it passed, I would leave a small Hershey's kiss or other treat. They LOVED this. Best of all, it was little effort on my part and the kids always seemed to want to keep their desk clean, asking me"Do you think the Desk Fairy will come by today?" and I would always say "You never know! But you need to be ready incase she does!"It was a fun little game and REALLY kept them wanting to keep their materials in order.
