To teach reading in 1/2 combo, you'll want to research 4 blocks as suggested or to read up on center management. I use a lot of 4 blocks in my class but centers is a major part of my instruction - do whatever is most "teacher friendly" for you!!!. Anyway, my very favorite mag is "Copycat" - every issue has ready to use materials/ideas I adore! Good luck!
