5th grade

Clip to ScrapBook
After teaching 8th grade and 2nd grade for 4 years, I had the opportunity to move up to 5th grade. I've found my niche. I absolutely LOVE them! I am starting on my 5th year with 5th grade. They are fairly independent and
love to help. Use this to your advantage. They really enjoy jokes, games and being silly. It is fun to watch how they change throughout the year. At the beginning of school, most of them haven't discovered the opposite sex yet. However, as the year progresses, most of them do and it is really hysterical to watch them interact--especially the boys trying to be cool. The girls giggle
alot and love to socialize. I try to allow them some opportunities besides lunch and recess to talk. My advice to you is to be patient, be silly with them and have fun. They are AWESOME!
