Combo class

Do as much combining as you can. For instance, Reading, Writing, History, Geography, Science, Art, etc. can all be done together. Math is one example that you need to separate. I would have one group do seatwork - maybe reading or some other workpages while I taught the others. Then as the math group began their independent math work, I would teach math to the remaining group. When the first group finishes, they then can begin the seatwork assignments. You have to allow for longer math periods, but it will be worth it.
