No one realizes that with all the staff development, all the different programs, the specialists they bombard us with, are all useless unless they start giving teachers more time to digest the best of information and plan for students. And that is supposed to be the bulk of our job--planning and teaching. I think a good administrator does not overwhelm teachers with staff development but offers only the best there is, then offers a gracious amount of time for colaboration and planning to implement those ideas.
