Surprise!!

Surprise conferences? (no sweat)Try running for the nearest exit or try this... Since you don't know what the topic will be and your opponents (the parents) do, you are at a disadvantage here so you need to control the situation by doing these 5 things:
1. introduce yourself
2. ask them why they are here today?
3. listen to their concerns.
4. tell them you need time to think about what they have just said.
5. offer to call them back later or meet with them again during a conference period. Follow this and you'll be outta there in 15 to 20 and you will now be more prepared for round 2!
