Interview
By Kim

Clip to ScrapBook
The few screening interviews that I have been on allow the school district to rank the candidate. Depending on how they rank you, you are more likely to get called for future job openings. However, just because they are conducting screening interviews doesnít mean they are hiring. When I went to my screening interviews I always had my portfolio with me.

As for your job offer I wouldnít take it if you donít think it is a match for you. Teaching is demanding enough without feeling like you had to take the job. However, if you were in my state you would probably take any job you were offered. You could always transfer after a year or two.

Good luck!
