before you use that camera...

just a word of caution. One of our teachers planned to do something similar a few years ago and was told in no uncertain terms by our administration that this was NOT allowed. The only way you could videotape a child in class (for a specific purpose, not a speech, play, etc.) was to get written permission from each student's parent. I'm assuming there is legality involved wherever you may be located. Good luck finding a solution.
