I am sorry that you felt taht my post was a personal attack on librarians. I never said librarians had it easy. I worked at the public library the entire time I in college, therefore I understand the procedures. But, at my
school we have other assistants that can cover the class, and I was trying to see how it is handled at other schools. You are right I am concerned about my planning time which is the only time I get in the day. You try going from 7:30 (on the days I have duty) to 3:30 without going to the bathroom. Until you are in my shoes, don't make assumptions about what I am worried about. I have

every right to inquire about my concerns. Again, I am sorry that you felt that my post was some type of personal attack, but if the shoes don't fit you, please don't try to squeeze your feet into them.

Please let me know if you are interested in the list of things teachers have to do to close out the year, although we still have a room filled with kids who are ready for the summer.
